Background

In November 2001, five ex-ZIVO employees (TelstraClear) joined forces with the two founding members of Breathe Creative to form Breathe Communications. The company rapidly expanded, and diversified with the creation of Sonic Mobile and OneSquared - mobile applications and ISP services respectively. In 2006, the Modica Group was formed as the umbrella organisation for the three companies —and to lead the Group’s international business development. The Group has a combined staff of 30, with offices in Auckland & Wellington.

Over the years Breathe has built an enviable reputation for delivering web solutions for a whole range of clients - from e-marketing for Andrea Moore to a complex database-driven, content management solution for Positively Wellington Tourism.
